Hi, I’m Valerie Kabul, and I’m diving into the brave new world of travel blogging. It’s kind of a scary thing, venturing into the unknown.
Growing up, my family would travel around the US (mostly East Coast states), and visit extended family in the Philippines and Indonesia. The taste for travel didn’t really sink in until I did a twenty-one day group tour of Europe with a college friend, where we visited 13 countries! It was an amazing time.
There’s always something thrilling about being in a new place. Fortunately my day job allows me enough time to do the trips that I want.
And I’ve made it my mission to travel every so often to someplace I haven’t been before. Hopefully I can inspire readers to take that leap of traveling abroad, or if not, at least enjoy a good story.
